NINA ROUGE by Nina Ricci is a Floral Gourmand Eau de Toilette for women. Launched in 2019 by perfumer Olivier Cresp, it expands the Les Belles de Nina collection with a caramel-inspired fragrance. If the original Nina was a fairytale fragrance, a true dream anthem, and a romantic scent that endures for years, this time it's reinvented in the most mischievous and daring way. The apple that inspired the original fragrance is now transformed into a caramel apple—red, bright, and "radically gourmand," as its creator describes it. Its composition opens with notes of juicy raspberries combined with the tang of citron, enhancing its initial freshness. Its heart features subtly spicy notes of ginger flower and velvety, almost creamy, soft gardenias. Its base is what gives it power, with extremely feminine bourbon vanilla and crisp caramel. THE APPLE. This time, the forbidden fruit is lacquered in a bright, irresistible red that mimics caramel. The bitten portion is pristine white, hinting at its delicate, feminine interior. Its neck is adorned with a white and red ribbon reminiscent of candy canes. THE MODEL. Estella Boersma, a Dutch model, returns as the face of Nina in a more cheerful, lively, and sweet way. How to use:
To prolong the scent, apply your fragrance to the inside of your wrists and behind your earlobes. These pulse points are warmer than the rest of your body, which helps the fragrance evaporate more slowly.
