THE CREATION
Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel signed Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate in 2016. An unexpected interpretation of Cologne Hermès that reinvents the astonishing freshness of a herbaceous plant: rhubarb.
OLFACTORY NOTES
La Cologne Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate, a fruity and citrus fragrance, expresses the freshness of crisp rhubarb and tangy lantana combined with elegant musk notes.
THE OBJECT
The iconic lantern bottle is enveloped in a scarlet red hue. On the orange box, a stripe that replicates the bottle's color creates an interesting contrast.
THE HERMÈS COLOGNES COLLECTION
Hermès Colognes constitute an infinite and virtuoso playground, exploring the sensuality of materials. They reflect an immediate and generous pleasure that transcends genres, trends, ages, or seasons.

"I've always loved the duality of rhubarb. And it's a double duality, because it's both visual and olfactory. Its green color transforms into red. From tangy and crisp, its aroma becomes soft and velvety." Christine Nagel
Eau de rhubarbe écarlate is Christine Nagel's first Cologne for Hermès. Novel and bold, more vegetal than citrusy, it offers the crisp, tangy freshness of rhubarb velveted with white musks.

How to use:
- To prolong the scent, apply your fragrance to the inside of your wrists and behind your earlobes. These pulse points are warmer than the rest of your body, which helps the fragrance evaporate more slowly.
- Applying perfume directly to clothes can stain, damage, and alter the fabric.
