Lip treatments

The properties and characteristics of the lips are different from those of the rest of the skin. Lips, being a mucosal layer, lack melanin and are more vulnerable and sensitive. As a result, they dry out and crack due to exposure to the sun, wind, cold, and water; these factors cause the lips to lose their natural moisture. Dehydration and poor sebum production also cause dry lips.

As we age, our lips lose firmness and fullness due to the decrease in collagen in the body. Despite this, with a proper routine, you'll keep your lips soft and supple, and you can use makeup to enhance their beauty to make the most of them. Good hygiene is essential for healthy lips, as well as recommending specific lip creams.

During the day, it's important to use sunscreen , lipsticks with this protection, and lipsticks that also contain vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant . At night, a restorative cream with nourishing cocoa and olive oil is recommended, so it works while you sleep.
