Apply to soaking wet hair. Dense / thick section is curled in 2 or more sections to ensure even coverage. Comb hair using your fingers. Add more conditioner and water in small doses until hair looks milky and makes a choking sound when squeezed. Pay special attention to the driest areas, such as the ends of the hair and the back of the head. Partially or fully rinse depending on curl pattern and texture. For drier, coarser curl types, leaving the conditioner on is recommended. For loose curls and waves experiment with part rinsing.
The bottle says to apply a generous amount, although it still doesn't help detangle my hair. I love this brand and the mask and gel are wonderful, but this conditioner has disappointed me a lot, even though I use a lot it doesn't soften anything at all, I feel like I've wasted that money. I wish I could trade it for another
